Casement Windows
A casement window is attached to the frame with one or more hinges and they are hinged at the side of the window and the hinge is attached to the frame. The construction of the window can be a single or a double window inside a common frame and they are hinged on the outside.
Casement windows open with a casement stay, if the window is hinged at the top of the window it is called an awning window and if the window is hinged at the bottom it is called a hopper.
